The Museum-Church of Santiago collects the artistic and religious heritage of Carrión de los Condes and its surroundings. It houses pieces from parishes, temples, and hermitages with a narrative discourse that links them together and contextualizes their peculiarities.
Sacred art has evolved over the centuries through different periods and styles with the aim of conveying its message to humanity. This is also the path that the Church follows towards God, the same path that the pilgrim takes in their quest for Christian fulfillment. A journey of faith that begins in beauty and moves towards devotion to history and identity.
